Snow Show 2012! What did you get!

I grabbed a used windshield bag from WC and bought a couple of beers.

It was pouring rain when we were there so we chose not to go through the swap meet.

I tried on Motorfist and Klim boots - not sure which ones I am going to go with yet. Looked at the Skinz and Zbros a-arms for the Nytro - would have been nice to see the Zbros on a sled side by side to compare the two different set ups.

If you tear up the bottoms up your boots like I do every season, go with the Motorfist. Replaceable bottoms for the win. I have the Klim Adrenaline and Arctic's now. My Arctic's already have a hole through the sole. I bought them in February. My Adrenaline bottoms lasted twice as long but are toast now too.

The Motofists didn't look like they were going to stay dry all year

Time will tell

Also technically aren't all boot soles replaceable?

Yeah, I dunno. I have gone 5 seasons on my current Klim boots and the soles are beat and my feet get damp, but hard to say if it's sweat or snow doing it. Just damp, not soaked.

dang near caught pneumonia standing in the rain the whole first day, got the heebie geebies when i stayed at the super eight across the road when i found a feminin pleasure products packageing behind the bed! ish! i slep on the couch. didnt sell my sled so the whole thing was pretty much a 9 hr long road trip one way.

Possibly but where are you gonna find replacement soles for boots like Klim? Maybe something custom? Seems a little more difficult that just ordering a $20 replacement sole straight off the internet.

My group bought 2 pair of Motorfist Stopmers, a NMFH, stole a bunch of "Schooled" videos and made sure the Morrison Police Department has enough cash in their budget next year by my donation for 64 in a 45! :face-icon-small-dis

OH!....sorta disappointed not to see one Single Ski represented....must just be a fad. ;)

KLim soles, or any sole for that matter, that is glued on isn't replaceable. Not an option.

As far as boots in general, they are warrantied for 1 year in almost all cases for a reason. They are like gloves. They are just one of those abused products that will fail sooner than later. It's just how comfortable you are on the way there that matters!

Totally agree...the soles are going to outlast the guaranteed water proof time.

It would be like having free palm replacements on a pair of gloves..whats the point when its leaking from everywhere else

I was gonna get some oil after my avy class, but it's harder to buy amsoil than weed.

Did you consider Legend oil? I haven't ran it yet but plan to once my Amsoil is gone. Quinton and Chuck are good guys, give them a shout.

I also tried on both and couldn't believe the difference. If the Motorfist pass the durability test, I think Klim is in trouble with their boot line.

To me the difference was about like putting on a pair comfy hiking boots and then a pair of new snowboarding boots.

The Klim just felt big and clunky while the Motorfist was soft and flexible right out of the box.

I took the Motorfist home with me. I wore them on 1/2 mile run, and they felt great. Absolutely no complaints from my feet either!

I hope they last.....

I felt the same way. I had no intentions of getting new boots, but tried on the Klim boots just to check them out. I decided I could wait a year... then, I tried on the Motorfist slippers and ended up bringing them home. My concern was durability as well, but I figure there's one good way to find out. Also brought home a case of legend oil to put my my new boots up on while watching the tube. Thanks guys!

If you are still looking for Amsoil let me know. I am a dealer but I don't really sell it. I mostly buy for myself and friends. I'll give it to you for cost. Shoot me a PM.
