It is snowing like a mo-fo right now at my house here in Auburn....AND.....it is starting to stick!! What a great start to my Friday

How is the riding in Auburn? Thinking of take a trip to California but not sure where to go?

Best riding with in a 1 1/2 hr. drive from Sacrameto in my oppinion would be Castle peak area out of truckee.
Exit near Donner Lake. Warren Lake with chutes that climb up to Devils Oven lake then climb up again to backside of Castle.
I have also heard Paradise Valley if you go back in farther is good. I have seen it from above but did not drop in. Looked great from there.
Have not been there this year yet.
Another area is Little Truckee Summit. Up hwy 89 15 miles from HWY80. I like going back into Meadow Lake area. You can put a few miles on around here. lots of groomed trailes and there is a lodge 8miles back in Coppins Meadows across from Webber lake.
