Snow Flap Dilema

Nope! I'd go at least another 2-3 ft.
what's that, a floor mat from your truck sponsered by polaris?
That was my thought, maybe 4' more....
NO NO NO... don't you know that your snow flap is supposed to be the same total length as that of your track!
A 151 track is supposed to have a 12'-7" long snow flap... anything shorter and you will not have sufficient cooling.
Snow Flap my butt, that thing is a personal trail grooming device. Kind of reminds me of the movie Crocodile Dundee when the thug pulls a knife and the newpaper lady says...."give him your wallet, he's got a knife" and Crocdile Dundee draws his saber and says...."that's not a knife, this is knife".
Couple other things come to mind:
1.) in terms of avalanche safety I like it. If you're burried I suspect that thing will be sticking out of the pile somewhere to easily ID your location so you won't need to upgrade to a better beacon.
2.) with that thing flapping in the wind it will probably cost you a few MPH on top end due to inefficient aerodynamics.
3.) the other thing to look foward to is when you pull it off the trailer and that thing gets stuck under the track......holy cow.

I got it from Polaris West...... Not sure if they have another one, but I told hime to call some shops... I bet Carles has some....

It's for when you get stuck. Ya just back up on it... like throwin' rocks under the tires when you are stuck.
Just not sure what length I want it. What did you cut urs to?
