Snow Eliminators or Better Boards????

I suggest Better Boards, they have worked well for us.

Regardless of what brand you decide, highly recommended that you have them powdercoated. It improves how well the snow is shed.

I know the old snow eliminators caused tunnels to bend in at the bottom but maybe they're better now? Put better boards on my Gen2 and loved em'. I put feethookers on my dragon just to try someone else's version and they look awesome. Your feet won't get stuck in the footwell, they're cheaper, faster install, and a ton of colors to choose from.

Feethookers

may i suggest feethookers?

they are .125" thick, powdercoated, mounting hardware included.... $150 shipped to your door. They are the only boards with the front two cleats facing backwards to aid in traction while allowing easy removal of your boot from the footwell area. we have black, red, and white instock. Custom colors are also available.

i bought MHFH because I feel they are better desinged that BB or SE. I love the fact i won't worry about my boot getting locked in and my digital camo is going to be sooooo tight!!!

Hard to go wrong with the Better Boards. I am getting ready to install my 2nd set on two sleds. Plus Rob (f-bomb) is a great guy to deal with and also supports the sledding community!

rob is awesome... a class guy......

I only bought meat hookers cuz My knees are irreplaceable and the MHFH are the best at making sure I don't get locked in.

I guess it depends on how you ride and what size and kind of boots you wear. I have never had one issue with getting locked in.

I agree with working with Rob. He's done a good job of working with the snowmobile community.

At first, I had a tough time with the Better Boards. The cleats are higher (or as high) as the outside ridge on the rails. I was to the point I was going to grind the cleats down, but I got used to it and my riding stance became 2nd nature.

I recommend BB's too, but anything is an improvement for the IQ boards. DON'T BUY BOARDS THAT REQUIRE DRILLING INTO THE SIDEWALL OF THE TUNNEL.
