Snow conditions

There was snow at the knobletts parking lot last weekend. It might be a little patchy at the parking lot after this week, but I don't think you would have a problem.

updates 5/5/09

Straight from he horses mouth.

"SR-35 is in Region Three. I talked with Ervan Rhoades the Area Supervisor and he informed me they are planning to have SR-35 open by 4 p.m. on Thursday May 7th.

SR-150 on the Evanston Side is open at mile marker 46; that is by the Ranger Station. On the Kamas side they have pushed back to mile marker 20, which is about 5 miles above the gate. We have left all of the Road Closed signs up, but have open the gates and will continue to push back as the snow melts so people can access the snow."

They acted like budget cuts would keep them from "seriously" plowing hwy 150, perhaps this means a longer sledding season:cool:

I think they plow hwy 35 so soon b/c of the cabin owners in Tabiona that have cattle prods on UDOT.:rolleyes:

No worries, Gibsonman found snow on the 24th :beer;

Now, if he hadn't forgot his goggles maybe we could have made it to Lightning Ridge :D

... and again on May 3rd.

We parked this time by the Soapstone Summer homes below the ML gate. Trail wasn't bad. Only a few dirt patches but I'm sure that's grown. There is still decent snow up top!!

Didn't see another sole all day!
