Bemidji as of 1/11 ditches are primarily hard, open field is hit n miss soft snow, trails are great north of bemidji. If youre into the deep soft snow like me, find open ares in the trees.
Average snow depth is about 2ft. Most ditches a re drifted across but some still have a bowl shape to them still.
