Over 5 feet of powder at Wild Skies Cabin Rental 1 hour SW of Steamboat Springs
Had a group of 5 guys from Denver, NE, and MN snowmobiling this weekend at our ride in/out cabin in the Routt National Forest 1 hour SW of Steamboat Springs/Rabbit Ears Pass. They never got more than 15 miles from our place and had over 5 feet of untouched powder to enjoy.
I have dates available Jan-April. Call me if you have any questions.

The cabin at wildskies was extremely nice! I'm not in any of those pics but that's because I was probably stuck hahaha, I'm still learning how to ride. The riding was absolutely awesome because all 3 days we rode we saw maybe a total of 20 other sleds, very secluded! We usually go to albany, wy but for us it's only about an extra 3 hours so if Lisa's cabin is available THAT is where we will be going! Ended up being cheaper over all than WY since we were 30 miles from the nearest bar lol
rode the Ears last week. the sled is in the trailer until they have more snow. I am not replacing arms this early.
Looking for deep base and loads of untouched powder
Rabbit Ears/Buffalo Pass may be packed down but stay at Wild Skies Cabin Rentals and find loads of untouched deep powder. I can provide photos from this weekend, last weekend, references etc. Only 1 hr SW of Steamboat Springs. CO and Rabbit Ears Pass. Way off the neaten path and worth the drive. Ride in/out from the front door and practically have the entire place to yourself.

we hitched a ride out of muddy creek due to bad alternator on the truck sunday @3:30 (lot was full) had a great day DEEEEP and couldn't see but still great!! hell we were worn out and back to the truck by 3:00. made it back up by 9:00 am monday and there was 2ft on in the lot and on the road into the lot!!! we had to walk in from the hiway.. got the truck fixed and started, had to get a sled off the sled deck to bust trail but made it out. it's DEEEEP boyzz enjoy have fun. i'll be back at some point this week, CAN'T WAIT!!!!! just another sledding story for the books

Glad you made out ok. We were the group that you hitched a ride into Kremmling with. Snow was awesome yesterday.
