Snow conditions in the mountains near Kremmling, CO? Riding with Burandt this week..

My brother and I are going on a Backcountry Adventure with Burandt at the end of this week. I was wondering if anyone knows the snow conditions there right now or the snow forcast for the rest of the week.

If CO gets the same storm Utah is supposed to get (mid week) then you should have some fantastic late season pow pow...

oh and there is plenty of snow on the ground in CO still...

This site WUNDERGROUND is a pretty good source. With the radar and sat. you can track each storm or front. Get ready for some altitude man. Made that trip in early March, you'll have a blast. Stay hydrated and cut off your lefty and mountain bar before ya go.....cuts down on the teasing. Have fun. EW

You couldn't ask for better spring riding conditions. In the midst of a blizzard as we speak. I believe RE is supposed to get upwards of 2 feet again. Been snowing really good the last 2 weeks!

Rode with Chris in early March. One thing he stresses (to put it politely) is not to depend on mountain bars or lefty throttles to contol steering or side weight transfer on your sled. Chris has the ability to to ride some crazy off camber side hill kinda stuff with both hands on the grips and both feet on their own running boards (not 2 feet on one side). He will tease and joke about cutting off those straps and leftys all the time that you use them. Of course I never used mine, I just have them on for re-sale value.

I'm sure if those guys went with grab straps and leftys, they get the joke by now. Have a good one. EW
