Can you tell us what's different between this ski and last years? Improvements?

This year we developed a completely new design to mimic the feel of a dirt bike. Our new ski handles awesome on those hard packed trails and floats effortlessly in the powder!

Last years ski was a Slydog Powder Hound, it was a narrower ski with steel runners and no side carbides.

This years design is almost 2 inches wider at 9.8". We have three 3" runners that are radiused and made of real carbide. The channels are designed to funnel snow easily and reduce freeze-up.

Ski looks sweet! What I'm really stoked on though is your spindle. Having the ability to throw a dirtbike tire on in a matter of minutes Is going to be key for spring riding conditions. Just need to hit enough mud puddles to keep the highfax cool! I think this is going to open up a lot of doors for people.

They said the ski they had on one of the bikes in West at the Expo this year had the new ski and I rode it for a short while. Most of my experience was on a trail there or some really crusty snow but I hated it on the trail. It danced around in all the other skag marks in the trail. But I'm used to a TS ski so maybe that had something to do with it. Just my 2cents though.

What I'd like to know is if anyone has actually had their forks saved by the break away bar. It sounds good in theory, but does it really work?

The ski we had on at West Yellowstone this year was a prototype that we were testing out. Since then we have re-designed, changing almost everything to enhance handling.
