Big flakes. In town. WOOOOO!

Bet the mountain is getting a good dusting right now :)

Have to take the bike up this weekend and find out ;)

You mean, you have to take the SLED up to find out :D

P.S. I'm really excited! I feel like a little kid on Christmas Eve Eve.. The real excitement hits the night before the first ride.. That's Christmas Eve to me :) :)

Unless we have a freak year and have a 4' base up there by the end of November, I dont get real excited about riding the sled till about mid-december .... I'll head over to the ears for that ;)

I'm gonna be riding the bike till the last day I cant again this year just like last year, esp once I get the sled put back together an have weekends to ride again =)

2 inchs on the ground in Dutch John 6200 feet

Looks like East Park had about 7" at 6:00pm this evening .... if it'd just do this 3 times a week until December all would be well and good.

How is the riding over near Vernal? Never been to that side of the Uintas. Is it worth making the trip for something new?

Not unless its an absolutely freak year and we get more than 4' of s now.

There is really a fair bit of country you can ride here, but we typically don't get more than 4' of snow, even up high.

I probably only rode here last year maybe 3-4 times, I was over at Rabbit Ears or Wolf Creek virtually every other time I rode last year, and last year was a good year for here.

yeah not the best by no means but if you are just interested in seeing some new country, let me know and come spend a couple days over this way!

so from the looks of things the eastern uintahs go the most snow! it was over knee deep everywhere up by east park yesterday, got to my hunting spot after 2 1/2 hours of hiking through it, some spots were up to my waist(and i'm 6'-3" tall) i heard hacking lake had close to 4 feet but can not confirm. i hope it stays cold enough to stay up there and keep dumping all year like that but i will not hold my breath.

crappy phone pic, but looks like we got a good dusting up there a week ago ... some of it was still there! ACK!
