Slp torque arm

Just wondering if anyone has used the SLP torque arm to lock down the Axys motor, and if so, has it helped with clutch performance? Any input is appreciated.

I put their torque arm on my 2014 Pro RMK. Looks like the Axys arm has the same design and mounting location. On my 2014 I couldn't tell that it made any difference in performance.

i don't think its so much a performance mod, but over time as the mounts wear out it should limit deflection and keep your clutch alignment true. under load resulting in cooler clutches and better belt life. i threw one on mine. I know it was a good mod on the pro,

The Axys and the Pro are two different animals. The Axys motor is set in the chassis crooked so that it flexes into parallelism under load. I would not recommend installing additional motor mounts.

They've been offsetting the motor for as long as I can remember, so at least the 90's, probably been doing it for much longer than that, it's nothing new

The additional torque arm is to keep out from going past parallel, it's just a knock off of the additional torque arm Polaris uses on the IQR

I believe what SLP is saying is that the motor mount gets worn with higher miles and it lets the clutch pull back slightly under load. The torque arm stabilizes it.
As for my test it was back to normal rpm up to 8500 ft. Then it dropped back about 200 as I climbed higher. Did the arm help.....maybe a little?? Too many variables in the clutching world, drives me crazy.
Think I'm going to switch off the rs and just ride it. It will kick the *** of the old Pros at 85 percent and I enjoy the handling and play so much the rip factor is secondary anyway:eyebrows:.
Of course you all know I won't be able to leave it alone.....
