SLP Ski issues on a 06 RMK 600? Please Help

My Uncle has a 06 RMK 600 and he bought SLP Powder Pros for them and they were tight to get on and do not move up and sown much or at all now. Basically if you have the front end up in the air the skis are stuck level with the sled. Has anyone had similat issues? He has talked to where he ordered them from and they say everything is correct.

Hey guys,
You should have a sleeve in the spindle that the bolt goes through, it's slightly wider than the spindle, so when you tighten the ski bolt it tightens against the sleeve and not the spindle. Sounds like the ski is pinching against the spindle. It's also possible to have the wrong rubber bushing in, or it's in backwards witch can also keep it from rotating properly.

Brand new, they will fit very tight and not seem to move. I have them and I have to use a C-clamp to get the spindle down enough to get the bolt through the mount and spindle. The skis will move to follow the terrain and the rubber bushing will loosen up a little bit with time. Make sure you put some grease on the ski bolts before putting it all back together.

Yes they move on the trails terrain but seem to submarine in deeper powder which causes stuck problems and if there is a rock under then there can be bigger issues then getting stuck.

X2. Its just how they fit. If your sled is submarining i would look at suspension set up first. Its not due to the ski's being level.
