hey guys im thinkin about getin an slp single for my 09 d8. i was just wondering what everyone think about them. do you need a fuel controller? and would you recomend using EGT's? tell me what yall think

I put one on my 08 but did the PC3 and SLP clutching at the same time. The sled is quicker and lighter feeling, but I'm not sure if it was worth the money. I would do the power commander before the pipe, if I were to do it again. The SLP set up is louder than the stock pipe and can, some guys like that but not me!!

the slp y pipe, pipe, and can really woke up my 10, no fuel controller or egts

i got one on my 09 assault. really woke it up...but to get full performace out of the system you should do some playing with the clutches.

the system sheds a bit of weight and i noticed an increase in the throttle responds.

no fuel controller or egts. a PCV would really do you some good tho

Buy it! You will get more performance out of it if you install a PCV with SLP's map along with it and 2010 first map. Install a Carls Helix and let her rip.

I've been preaching this since the middle of last season. This is a must on the 800 CFI IMO unless you port.

Agree with ^^^^^. This setup (add Ron's weights and gear down some) is fantastic, zero issues and RIPS !!

Sorry to hijack...Is Ron still doing weights?
I will let you know what i think once the snow flies, adding full slp to 09 assault. Already had the PCV and geared down with a 2.5 camo ext.

Send him a PM and ask him, his user name is "Ron" on here. Haven't seen a post lately but I haven't been on much either.
