Cans, pipes, Jet-Skis, speed boats, never sound loud to the operator IMHO, but to the others in your riding group, they can get annoying, [I had a bud who would sneak up behind me off the throttle and when he was about even would lift his right ski, bank over and "lay the pipe to me" IT WAS Loud" damn near took me off my seat....and all I could think was,

"I wanna' do that...."

The fact of the matter is that almost nothing pisses the greenies off more than noise. Look i owned a race engine shop for 20+ years and no one loves high hp open exaust more than me, but i'd much rather have a 300 hp super quiet sled, reason is if 3 greenies are in the next valley and we are all hittin the chutes they don't even know we are there, and that is in fact a really good thing in todays world. People don't complain about power,but they durn sure bit*h about noise. Sport bike goes by your house at 5 am open exhaust and wakes you up? ur pissed off..quiet sportbike goes by at 195 mph and you dont even wake up. Its the same with sleds.
My next sled need to be white snow cammo, dead quiet,400 lbs and 250 hp.....lmao.....

Anyone know what the HP gain would be on the can only? That would be the only thing I would be interested in.

Cans don't add HP, most actually lose a pony or two.
