SLP Silencers -- Now Shipping

Carls had some of the cans about 2 weeks ago. The HPS can is only 4.4 lbs and they are shipping as well.

2.2 lbs? Uhh try walking around the block twice a week and try not to eat until you feel like you might puke. I can't believe someone would actually pay money for that. Unless it cost about 30 bucks, waste of money in my opinion. Edit: Just checked the link. If you want to spend 270 dollars, work on your clutching and maybe some vents.

for $100 more you could do a Fastrax drop n roll and gain a hellovalot more than a can.

bmp is loud, slp is usually very close to the factory db rating, i ran their pipe kit on my 09 800 and it wasn't loud at all.

I hope there is no one who buy these can to save weight?
If its the case, look at your body...
Im sure most of you could easily lose 10-20 pounds. (Myself include)
:)

no kidding guys. my rmk is light enough. there is no way in helll I could justify buying a can to "shave weight" on this sled or any sled for that matter. I need to drop a few pounds, well, more than a few but ya. figured I'd post it up tho, I'm sure someone was wondering and waiting on the SLP can.....

Anyone know what the HP gain would be on the can only? That would be the only thing I would be interested in.

my mod sled has slp twin race pipes on it,very loud,my iq has the slp silencer, nice sound but still a tad loud.. Pro has stock can and to be honest it sounds really nice and I'm liking the quiet...after riding it amazing how loud race twins are. The stock can works very very well as far as power goes and is also quite 'trail friendly" :face-icon-small-coo

I would like to see a quiet can made of titanium like sportbike mufflers, super light and quiet.. I really like them on the bikes

just gotta ask someone, who actually likes a loud exhaust? Doesn't it hurt your ears after awhile? I mean half the loudass sleds out there sound like chainsaws!

I have a HPS can on my Pro and it is loud but not loud.. It sounds amazing and it shaves 7.5#'s off. Didn't notice the weight savings nor did it run better but it fing sounds as awsome as the sled really is now... I ran with a stock Pro this last weekend and the stock can, which I really liked before, well lets just say it just didn't do it for me, it didn't sound very good at all anymore.. And after a long hard day of ridding the HPS can didn't get on my nerves on the ride out.. Just my take on it..

I kinda like how my RMK sounds also....It may sound odd but I think I'm growing out of the loud sled thing. I think my crossfire 700 with a speedwerx single and can is plenty loud. I guess it was cooler when I was just riding a ZL or a Firecat and never doing long pulls in tight areas that really echo

Cans, pipes, Jet-Skis, speed boats, never sound loud to the operator IMHO, but to the others in your riding group, they can get annoying, I had a bud who would sneak up behind me off the throttle and when he was about even would lift his right ski, bank over and "lay the pipe to me" IT WAS Loud" damn near took me off my seat....and all I could think was,

"I wanna' do that...."

too bad they don't make both for sleds. we had a boat that you could run the exhaust through the normal muffler and it was a nice quiet boat you could talk anywhere on without yelling, flip a switch on the dash and it ran the exhaust out the straight pipes and it was loud as hell
