slp pipe

Power commander before anything.

Do you have board inserts? Cuz that's what should be after the PC V

Don't matter.
Don't let not having the PCV stop you from riding.

Get out and see how it runs so you can see how valuable the PC is :)

Install PCV (and new mapping) first thing... That way you are sure you are getting enough fuel to it through the mid range. Watch your dash frequently... If it starts going off and on get to a dealer... Odds are very good your voltage regulator is bad (it'll be under warranty). It takes about 10 minutes to install a new one so no big deal, just giving you the info you may need... Mine went out at around 40 miles. BTW Thanks to all who posted on VR post started by I believe it was Davermk??? When mine went I knew where to look first! Anyhow I hope this info helps!

to get the new mapping do i take that to a dealer like action if not where do i get that done thanks for all the help I do not know much about the new sled just the old school stuff

Mapping

Dont take to dealer as they wont be able to help you... I recommend going to: www.dynotechresearch.com
Jim there has been a big help to me and countless others. He does independent testing (Dyno) and has maps for you... He will email them to you or build you something and you just input that map into your PCV via your laptop, send map to PCV and you're set! Dynotech charges $25.00 for a 1 year membership but it is well worth the info and tech support he gives you... With membership you'll get free mapping.
