slp pipe w/mbrp can on m1000?

anyone run this set up? i have an mbrp can on my m1000 and i wanna pipe it this summer. thinkin about keepin my can and runnin the slp pipe. i like the way the can sounds right now. anyone else do this? sounds clips? thanks

I am not to sure about the 1000 but on the m8 just the slp pipe without the y pipe won't fit, so you pretty much have to buy the whole package anyways. I also had the mbrp can i liked the sound of it but not the fit, the slp package fits real good together and sounds awesome. JMO

Dont do it!!! I ran an mbrp can with a d&d y-pipe/pipe combo and had a nasty bog on the bottom end. The reason for this is the MBRP has no back pressure what so ever and doesnt let the pipe do it job, blows fuel out the can. An mbrp can is best on a stock y-pipe and stock pipe combo. I switched my mbrp out for a trail barker D&D can and got major gains. If you're going to run the slp setup go right to the can. Stick with the product through and through......

I use a speedwerks y-pipe and pipe with the mbrp and had no trouble sounds good and no bog but you need a control box boondocker is what i use and i like it it works great. if you want a good set up go with that my buddy had a slp set up on his dragon and it was a pile of crap any way let me know what you go with...

Dunno About SLP never liked it set up/ but the SW Y / Pipe/ and MBRB Can does respond quite nicely-and you doo need a fuel box!!

I don't like the idea of mix matching. The slp pipe is set up to run the slp y and can. I think you will be asking for trouble mix matching. The slp set up sounds good to. Sell your can and buy a used slp. If you had a SW set up I would ask Kelsey [RKT] what he runs. I know its not a SW can. He has done lots of testing.
