For customers who are using the SLP Single Pipe Kit on their Polaris 800 Axys, we want to notify you of an update that eliminates a harmonic vibration in the pipe that could lead to pipe failure. Please review and perform the update immediately. If you have any questions please contact Starting Line Products at (208)529-0244.

How soon are shipping updated clamps. I am heading on a trip Tuesday and would be nice to have them by then. I have 2 pipe sets. Would be willing to pay for some extra overnight freight if necessary.

I don't have this setup, but just looking at the pic, could you not just get a proper sized hose clamp, and looks to be some header wrap?

I bought 2 clamps and some header wrap at NAPA today. Cost $45 to do the 2 pipes ( way more wrap than I need ) but I am headed out on a trip and did not want to wait for update kit from Slp. Better safe than sorry when you are 8 hours from home.

I spoke with SLP today and yes move the strap and they will send you a second one to put back into the original location, didn't sound like the second one was coming anytime soon.

I put my own on there. SLP couldnt even tell me when they would get the clamps in stock. Eric

Give em a call and post it up here.... or send them an email with a link back to this thread and ask them to chime in.

Can you elaborate more about the resistor issue...Is it an "across the board" issue?

I know in my area a few have had the resistors coming apart. My dealer told me that he had brought it to there attention and asked they build something with better connectors. When I spoke with them about the pipe band I also asked them about it, he responded that he wasn't aware of it but would let the engineering department know so they should be aware of it. I would just caution to be gentle with them if ever unplugging them.

Do you have a photo of this resistor to post up? (I've never seen one).

Just the resistor, not mounted to the sled would be great.
