Thinking I might throw on a SLP pipe set. Im going riding right after christmas. What is everyone doing for clutching. Is there anything else that needs to be done to the sled with that kit to make it run right? Thanks.

What elevation? If your over 8000 I would leave the stock springs and helix alone and run 68-70 gram cat weights.

Use SLP clutching, they will balance your clutches, MTX weights, etc. - they will do the whole deal for you.

And it will work good!

I had them set up mine and it works great. 09 M8 162

I like the slp 44/36 helix a lot better than the straight 36. With just the pipe at that altitude you could run the 40/36 helix and 68G cat weights.

E Code 18?

Help please,

I installed an SLP, airbox, and clutching recommendations from SLP on my 09 M8. It made a huge difference. I keep getting an ecode 18 message and it feels like it is running on 2 of the 4 plugs and wont clear out at any speed. If you shut it off and restart it works good as long as you are on the throttle, and if you go to less than half it codes again. I am at 6-8K.
Any thoughts? This did do it occasionally last year stock, but always self resolved.

Thanks
