Slp pipe, resistor

The parts have arrived. I'm out of town today, but will start putting them together and post pics soon. Thanks for the interest and people's input so far.

My slp resistor is now throwing all kinds of codes. I had to take it off. I haven't been able to get a det code since I removed it but I think I have tps issues now cause it won't rev over 7900 rpm all of a sudden after it has been at 8250 consistently.

Update on my Pipe Resistors, PM me to be put on the list; Thanks!

The Re-ordered correct parts have now arrived. I started making 25 over the weekend. Picked up more heat shrink today and came home to find my heat gun has died. Napa had one which I just bought online, and will pickup tomorrow, production continues.

I'm happy with my current revision. All four bullet connectors come out one end of a heat shrink end cap, which can be tie wrapped to the crossmember or other convenient location. The connections are crimped with quality crimpers (not your hardware store cheapos), multiple layers of heat shrink, and potted inside a round corner square Lexan tube before the heat shrink end cap is installed and shrunk over the works. Very labor intensive design but as promised "Bullet Proof".

I got 25 of them all crimped, heat shrunk and stuffed into the lexan tubes.

I'll pot them tomorrow after work and Heat shrink the caps on them. Should be ready to ship Thursday, Friday at the latest. PM me for payment Info. and your mailing address.

Thanks for considering my resistor upgrade, if these move well, I'll order more resistors and start the next batch.

These are a couple of my completed resistors. These are going out to the two guys that have prepaid. The rest are ready to send. PM me for particulars.

The blue tape indicates a connector pair. Either the pipe or the wiring harness connectors should both go in that side. Thanks for the interest!

Resistor connections?

Is the resistor being wired in series with the probe (ie. in line, in one of the wires only) or in parallel with the probe (ie. across the two wires)???

Also, is 870-890 ohms the required value?

Thanks,

Mark

So I have a ORIGINAL Resistor ... Is there any other performance gains with this one???

Stock pipe or others ??
16' motor like these more ?

EDIY ...Sorry I See Same Resistance just crummy assembly

I sold a dozen or so about this time last year, because the ones that the pipe manufactures were supplying with their pipes were falling apart before it could even be installed. I have plenty left. As of right now I have not sold enough to cover the parts much less my labor. If you are in the market for one, PM me.

After searching all over: i can’t get an answer…the resistor is simply wired in across the terminals that would go to egt, why do the “bypass resistors” have 4 terminals?… are the egt plug ends just connected to dummy connectors??
