SLP pipe on 11 Pro

I have a 2011 PRO that is basically stock. I found a SLP single pipe and can online and was wondering if I would need to get a control box if I were to get the pipe. Looking on SLP's website they suggest it, but they are also trying to sell it. Anybody have any input on this?

Yes, you will need a fuel controller if you install the SLP pipe.

I ran my 11 at sea level without a controller. I started with the PCV but was a lot happier without. The map recommended by SLP to use was junk, IMHO. WAY too rich and would back fire like an SOB pretty much every time I shut the sled down. Ruined a set of reeds. Without out the controller I did run a half can of Torco octane booster in each tank. We can only get "90" here in AK so wanted a couple extra points to prevent detonation. Never had any issues and there was a definite power increase with the pipe. A lot more noticeable than on the 09 dragon FWIW.
