So some of the cats here at the office bought (not given to) new Mohawk skis, including this fella. And I got to say they are awesome!! They truly work heads and shoulders above the rest in deep snow and on the trail too! It's the best of both worlds That usually NEVER happens with skis. Personally, the best ski I have ever had, Bar none.

We son't sell them…..but if we did we would be pushing them on folks for sure.

just a great product and thought we would get that out there. We (sledders) are a tough crowd to please! And SLP nailed it on this ski.:face-icon-small-coo

I have heard great things about this ski. I need to buy a set and see what they hype is about. Thanks!!

I like the c&a boondockers on the xm better than the mowhawks. Haven't tried the mowhawks on a pro but am going to put the c&a on my wife's pro and give them a try.I think they are both awesome but like the boondockers better.

X2, agree, best ski I've ever owned!

yep Kudo's to SLP...

but seriously the first snowmobile ski came out in 1954...

the ski is relatively simple in function..

don't you think it could have been perfected by 1955..

putting the c/a on the pro rmk is a mistake IMO.
having three guys in my group with c/a and myself on the mohawks.
1 guy removed his c/a and went back to stock. The other two fight their skis in the trees alot.

C/a is too stiff and likes to sink and plow through the snow. They steer like a tank on the trail. Just my opinion having ridden them back to back to back with grippers and mohawks.

The mohawks get up on top of the snow and float much better. they also handle like a dream on the trail. I do wish they were just a tad stiffer though, but not anywhere close to stiffness of c/a.

You just like to know how stiff things are. Phatty.:face-icon-small-hap

Seriously, the CA's are not made for what happens in sep snow. Phatty is right. IMO. I have had them…..
