Slp kits & 2009 m1000

Looking for feedback on the SLP mods (Y-pipe, pipe, can, & BDbox) on a 2009M1000. I am riding @ 0-5000 feet. Is it really 192HP?? Any problems?? I am looking to get more reliable HP from this sled. Please help!!

I have the SLP kit, intake, RKT clutch kit, Boondocker tuner and geared down to 56/64. Used a Koso A/F gauge to tune with and this thing hauls azz. 192 hp does not seem out of the question. I smile everytime I pull the trigger.

Thanks Big Cat!! Where do you ride?? I would love to check out your sled. I ride a lot in Denali Park. I just sold a Dragon and went to this M1000 and so far really like it!! Have you had any issues with this set up??

Mostly ride Summit and Cantwell 2500-6000ft. Stock the sled pulled hard but acted like it was stuck in 2nd gear on a climb ( IMO secondary clutch problem ) . SLP's Boondocker #'s for the pipe kit was right on the money according to my KOSO. Guy I ride with has a 800 Dragon and it rips. Great sled. New my M-1000 would go 100 mph on the flat. That is why I geared down. Real happy with all the changes so far. Only thing I have yet to add are a pair of custom Sly Dogs which should be in soon.

Just bought full SLP pipe and BD box for pal's M1000 -09. I'd like to hear your clutch setups. We ride 0-3000ft. I like torsional conversion in my CF7 so maybe that's the way with M1000 too?

Big Cat-- Are you going to Arctic Man?? How does your M1000 compare against your buddys dragon??

OH HE11 YEAH I'LL BE THERE!! We haven't raced them side by side but watching them both going up the hill with equal riders I would say it will out climb the dragon for sure. But it should , right? Not with my big butt on it
