is the slp hi flow intake for the d8s worth the $128 bucks seems like its a vent and the funnel piece maybe i'm missing something

what do you all think about it??

I did that to my D7, along with 4 flo-rites on the sides of the dash pod, no noticeable diff, but I'm not riding in the deep snow, and my sled is close to stock.

With more mods, pipe, turbo, and snow on the stock sponge filters, it may be worth it.

If you still have the old style 2-piece air box, you may want to consider taping up the seam to prevent the ingestion of belt dust into the engine, along with taping over the headlight adjuster.

ok thanks i guess i don't know what airbox i got its a new sled to me its an 09 dragon 800

i've been reading up on all the do's and don'ts i'm trying to put together a
do list and get it together before the snow flys

so far its looking like
track (done)
PC V
vents
pipe?
better boards (maybe bars also)
FTX D/R ?
gas can holder (not sure which one yet)
seal head light
clutching

wow its getting long

You probably have the 2-piece, you can see the seam from the top, as it's a side by side split, not top & bottom split
