slp hot air elimination kit

i'd like to get some opinion on this out there. i've asked this on hardcore but no one really responded. i put the kit on my sled two days ago. i'm thinking it has to help because the more air that gets in, the cooler my sled will run. if the engine doesn't get too hot it will make more horsepower. what do you guys think?

You won't notice huge gains even if you gut the stock air box.....small but not big.
Still....it is the right thing to do...cooler is better. But the primary purpose of the hot air elimination kit is to rid the engine area of stagnant hot air which will also allow your clutch and belt to run cooler...which is another area that would rob you of hp if allowed to get to warm.
It's a good, small, incremental change that will add up especially if other mods are done.
