SLP high air flow air horn? good or bad?

it just attatches to the stock plenum on the hood, look harder at the pic. the only advantage is another spot for the plenum to pull air from. on the 09 sleds they have an extra frogskin on the plenum and would be pointless to add the slp. I mesh hood would help but they don't make mesh hoods that retain the stock intake. If you modify from stock it might help a bunch, but it could cause problems and without a fuel controller you can't correct it.

it looks like it works the same a stock but probably a bigger circumference for more flow and the two little intakes pull air from inside the hood if the top gets plugged up or possibly all the time hence the warm air. you could probably plug up the extra vents if your worried about the warm air

the hole in the belly pan stays the same on that one so it doesn't increase air flow just pulls from more area.

Like winterbrew said, stock intake and mesh hood with the plenum. Take the money you will waste on an aftermarket intake and buy a mesh hood. You will not be dissapointed.
