Has anyone tried this combo yet ? I am buying a slp pipe but no can so I was thinking I would try my hps can .

TTT, I would also like to know if anyone tried the SLP, HPS combo. I have both cans and would like to use the HPS can. I will be trying both this year to see if there is any difference.

im in the same boat i have a stage 3 kit on my 13 pro ans want to change slp can for hps but im wondering if there compatable and how the combo will work

The HPS can fits on the SLP pipe no problem. They say there is a back pressure difference between the SLP stock replacement can and can for the pipe. But maybe the HPS can is close to SLP pipe can.

No one has tried this? Maybe this fall when more people are checking out Snowest.

If you tried it fine but why would slps can that fits the stock pipe not fit their pipe, states so right on site. And saying that you would think anyones can that fits the stock pipe would not fit the slp pipe.

Also you can email slp, i did about some stuff and they get back to you in a couple days.

I ran an slp pipe with a hps can for most of the season last year and it will fit. Not perfect fittment, but sounded way better than the slp can. I will find the pic and post it.

@glassman

The big question is, how did it run? No RPM loss with HPS vs SLP can.

Does anyone know how to contact HPS I already know what SLP will say . Or does anyone have a subscription dyno Jim ? Somebody has had to dyno this combo.

To be honest, I didnt notice any gain or loss with the HPS can on the pipe, I just wanted a better sounding setup.

hps cans are louder than heck! what do you guys think of MRBP cans??
I find the MBRP is much louder than the HPS, I have tried the MBRP, SLp and the Dynoport cans and I love the HPS the best out of them all. The fit and finish is second to none with the HPS and it has a nice rumble to it, it is a little louder than the SLP for sure.
