Slippery Seat

I bought a used sled for my wife and the previous owner sprayed something on the seat that made it too slippery to sit on while it's standing still let alone while she's riding.:eyebrows: Any thoughts on how to clean it?

Armor All?

It was likely Armor All'd, the stuff is next to impossible to remove once used.

Slightly off topic but a note concerning Armor ALL;
About 28 Years ago when I was working construction in Georgia, is was told to never use the stuff, because once applied you must religiously re-apply it at least weekly or the dash will shrink and crack from the heat of the sun. I heeded the advice and have never used the stuff.

Goo gone, or citrus based(non abrasive) hand cleaner. Guy at work had his kid helping with washing and detailing Tahoe. Kid Armour All'ed the seat LOL. used hand cleaner, then immediately after heavy with leather conditioner. Went from being a slip and slide, to normal leather seating feel.

Before I went riding last weekend, I picked up some apples that had fallen on the snow. I realized as soon as I grabbed the handlebars that I had a mess!
Of course I had a great grip, but to my surprise, neither my handgrips or gloves were sticky after the ride.
So, as goofy as it sounds, you could wipe your seat with apple juice.
