Slide lube system

The good old Indy 600...nice. Soap is pretty commonly used. You might also consider adding another set of wheels to your skid. jmho :beer;

Also you could drill small holes (not all the way through) like a countersink in the hyfaxes to help hold what ever lube you end up using.

I ran pre-mix in the tank and turned the oil tank into my slide lube tank. Used gravity to feed the hoses that ran to the rails. Drilled and tapped the rails for Mikuni jets, screwed in a 250 or so and let 'er buck. Just remember to turn them off before coming back the return lane. For lube,I used Marv Jorgenson's Super Slippery Slide lube as that was all NSSR allowed (biodegradable.) On my kid's 120 Champ sleds I used cooking oil as it solidified into waxy lube. I wouldn't recommend it for your application, though.

How many in each rail? Did you tap threw sideways? I was thinking of drilling straight through the slides in a 3 or 4 spots on each rail.
