Sleep........It's missing!

Anyone else up this late or maybe I should say, this early in the morning because they cant sleep???? I usually fall asleep between 11 and midnight, sleep for about 2 hour, sometimes 3, then awake for 2 or 3 hours. I am not crazy about taking sleeping pills and if I do take them I feel worse then if I dont sleep. I know there is a herb supplement out there but cant remember the name. Anyone have an idea?

Got the same problem, for me it is too much on the mind ... If I had Starbucks at 5:00 pm I would not get to sleep untill 2:00am...The only thing that works for me is counting hooters till I fall asleep..:D
 
I hear ya gusto on the "too much on your mind" thing. I use to have this person that was like my sounding board, we would talk every night until 11 or midnight then I was able to sleep the rest of the night just fine.

Melatoninyour found at any grocery or drug store....Melatonin is the natural chemical the body produces to induce sleep. You can buy 1mg or 3mg pills with absolutely no side effects......
 
ohh I forgot, when i have trouble sleeping I have a few beers. Or a shot oy nyquil and beer chaser.
 
I have always struggled with my sleep. We used to have a V in the bedroom but we took it out as my wife would want to sleep while I was wide awake and watching the Tube. Now that is is gone I have found that if I read a novel for 45min to an hour I pretty much just drop right off.

The key is to find something that is relaxing for you - a hot bath/shower, reading, etc. Avoid stimulants (TV is one of the worst offenders - you think you are relaxed but really you aren't). Good luck - lack of sleep sucks.

try melatonin or get some stuff called ZMA, its suppose to naturaly increase testosterone for workingout.. but i dont believe it help but it does make me sleep like a rock.
