Sleding in August!!!!!!

Well...................Ok it did involve a sled at least. My kids and the neighbor kid thought it would be fun to get the old 340 out of the shed and do a few mods to it.

Pics aren't that good because they were taken with the camera phone. I'll get better pics tomorrow night.

Some video too PLEASE!!! Make sure they don't do any sod curls on the grass and boondocking should be limited IMO. What a great way to kill time in the summer.

I think we have a twin of that sled, in mint condition. You should buy it so they each have their own. Neighborhood drags...................LOL

Ron, I'll let the neighbor know, he can buy yours and then Archie and him could race.

Jeanette, I had to insist that they don't do donutes on the grass, even though I would much rather see my yard white, I do enjoy my yard in the summer. As for boondocken..............I told them to keep it to a limit of one little kid in the neighborhood at a time.

I called to see what they were doing a little while ago. They had changed out the handle bars and were trying to figure out how to put everything on the new handlebars.

I guess it beats having them infront of the TV and it keeps them out of trouble.

Oh and Jeanette, I will get Video too.

Update..........LOL

I came home for lunch to find the kids making a "Custom Light weight" hood.

Then, this evening they took a couple more test runs. They still have some more work to do on the front end.

Archie was probably doing about 25 last night. His first "hole shot" the front came off the ground about 2 feet. He gets back to the garage and he's like "Mom, did ya see my wheelie? "

I'm sure there will be more stories later today. Hope there are no more garage ones though.

The neighbors aren't too bad. The 2 houses across the street from me are cool. They hang in the evenings and weekends with us. There there is Johnny 2 houses up from me. He's loves it, and can't wait for his 7 year old to start doing this stuff. There is another neighbor a few houses up that gives 4 wheeler rides to all the little kids, which is all the kids in the neighborhood except mine, and the neighbor that is helping with the "project"
