hey guys! i have been wanting to get a sledding related tattoo for a while but only have a couple of ideas. i was thinkin about getting a sled sidehilling across my back or a pic of a sled in action with summer sucks wraped around it or let it snow...cant decide. i know it needs to mean something to me cause ill have it forever but anything associated with sledding or snow will do cause sledding is my passion and my life! cant live without it! i just want to get something that i can look at or think about on one of those sheitty hot summer days or something like that, something not huge but proportional to me. (frikin tall and skinny so it could be a prob lol) if anyone has any ideas please share them!!!

thats what i was kinda leaning towards(the sidehilling one) but i wouldnt get it on my arm casue im the long lankey type lol
if i had the perfect sidehilling picture i would probably get that!

eeeehhh.... heheh.... i wouldn't do a brand name tattoo. You know in six months they'll do somethign that pisses you off and you'll be stuck with that in your skin forever.

what about getting one for each area that you ride/have ridden? It'd bring back memories for you for the rest of your life, could be cool fifty years from now with so many of our areas closing...

that would be cool! i have a bunch of cool pics but not many with any action. i could take different views of places i ride and incorporate them into the back ground or something! that would be cool

I was always thinking towards a chain/gears/track type of backround while having an airborn sled flying or a up and down cresting a hill.

I can't figure out exactly what I want so I haven't gotten serious about it. I don't just want to pick something in haste.

find a GOOD artist and take them a pic of your favorite chute or mountain and have them draw up several ideas.....went this route for my last piece. Didn't have sledding, but the idea of telling the artist an idea or showing them something and then giving them some creative freedom.

For sure you will then have a piece that means something too you, AND it will be one of a kind...no worries about someone else getting one like it.

I like the idea of getting places you've been or your favorite places. I think that would create a pretty awsome back piece. I think having 3 or 4 of your fav mountains across the top of your back and a couple guys on sleds on the lower back looking up and pondering the next line. That would cost some big bucks though
