Albany only has about 50 locals. It is literally, a lodge with gas, food and booze. The rest are a few dozen cabins and some trailers. Most of the cabins are owned by people that don't live up there full time.

Depending on the definition, the full time locals, number close to the population of 15 on the sign. The part timers bring the number to the 50 range.

So doing the math, a permanent population of 15 will have 30 eyes and ears watching and listening, with about 200 guns holding 5 shells minimum each (before reloading). Our security is paramount and we can't want an hour for help to show up. We don't need these problems either.
