Sleddecks vs. Open Trailers.

Decks are nice but I hoping next week I will have a 29ft pace trailer hooked up to my rig, for a complete steal of a price :D I will take an enclosed over a deck anyday of the week.....

Ive ran my deck now for 2 years and love it ! my truck is lifted so the ramp is super steep though  The big advantage for me is you can have 2 sleds on and go any place you normally would .Like going up 4x4 trails in the spring to get to places or just to McDs drive though in the morning . I do miss my enclosed some times though . theft was never an issue with the enclosed and there was plenty of dry storage for what ever you needed to bring along . It was a pain going up trials in the fall and spring though . its also worse on gas and much more clumsy of a unit . An open 2 place trailer is junk IMO . you re sleds get dirty no matter what if you hi-way travel and its the easiest set up for thieves to steal by far .

Ya, the 2 place open was a pain, but I borrowed it and it worked well to get my sleds down to the in laws for Christmas... as I said people kept wanting to put their windows through the deck..

I use this trailer now.. I know I can get my 2 sleds on there.. maybe more (the deck is only 6'11" wide, 16' long, plus 2' dove tail)
