Correct the turbo from the G-kit is a sweet little ebay unit.. I makes a ton of intake heat if you run more than 8lbs. I am no longer running it and went 4 injector.
Did you use crush washers?

Push wasn't using a chinese knockoff... I understood they were using the standard journal bearing Garrett on the G kits... Please confirm??

The turbo on these kits is 100% not a Garrett. They are a cheap overseas journal bearing turbos with specs similar to a 2860. Here is a pic of the serial number

What turbo are you running now? Were you able to use your Push exhaust? It's like the nicest part of the kit.
Fixed all the leaks with new braided line. Nothing was seating right. Sled wouldnt start again today. Pulled all the plugs. They were black as sin. replaced all plugs and finally it started on the 10th pull. Finally got it running.

I notice you only have 4 springs holding your pipe and Y pipe together. Are these stock or high tension springs?

Might have been a slug of turbo oil. If I let mine set for a couple of weeks I get a stinky cloud of smoke.......Im assuming it's a bit of turbo oil that squeezed out. I use Mobil 1 it smells terrible/weird.

Your y pipe springs are on backwards. Glad you got her to run finally! Hope she is a ripper. Its cool to see midwest guys experimenting with the low altitude setups. There is not much info out there when it comes to running them, but there should be a lot more soon as many are going with boost.
