I'm looking for a sled stand for this summer, the one's that hold the back of your sled off the ground. Does anyone know where I can get one and where can I get a sled lift in town that also won't break the bank?

You could build one out of 2x4's, or slip a 2x4 sideways under the track, between the paddles.

As far as a sled lift goes, any of the shops around here would be happy to order you one from wps, but your going to pay about $300 for it. I have some plans, but no welder, and buying steel to build it gets expensive too. Ill probably order mine from JC at Valley Motorsports here in Wasilla. He always hooks me up, plus its a local business.

p.s. Did you happen to bring the tools with you to work today? If so, ill swing by and get them back :)

No man, I left them at the house but I can bring them in tomorrow or whenever your going to be out this way. Or I could swing by your place and drop them off if I go riding this week. Did you want the spring I pulled out of my sled or did you want the stock one? AM&DS said they would trade my spring for the purple/green spring.

I would like to have a purple/green one if I can :) If not, than the one you pulled out will do. I just like to have a good selection of extra parts hanging around. Aren't you glad I threw it in the bag, just in case :)

If you want, ill just swing by in the morning then. Ill call you when I'm on my way.

No problem, i'll swing by AKM&DS and swap it out for the right one. You saved me a trip there last week and I got to try out the purple/green spring which I like better than the blue/yellow.

Talk to John (SirCatchAlot) over on HCS in the Alaska section. I think he has made some before and from what I remember they were pretty kickass lifts.

like diiss? Wasilla cat shop has a couple.
