sled necks 11, cost me 40 bones

Just finished watching the new sled necks flick and was not impressed. last year they had a great flick, the only thing this years flick's had going for it was the one huge drop down the avy shoot (pretty gnarly) and chris burandt's boondocking. I wich I would have saved the money and bought race gas. Just my opinion, it seems that sled vids have gotton so expensive,which is fine, but they better be worth it. I remember when I bought MM1 for $10 off guy from zala's, that was only 6 years ago. Oh well, although I was dissapointed I will likly pay $45 next year and hope for the best (I love sled vids in september).

I really liked Turkey's segment. Set the tone, thought it was gonna be a good vid, then it trailed off with glimpses of great shots. Actually, no.....lemme re-phrase.

There was so much GOOD footage, the problem was how it came together. Too many drops, not enough of the rest of the SN gang. Where'd RoboFord go? I liked all of the footy of GeeOff but maybe it was better suited for 3 different videos, not just jammed into 1.

More Burandt is always good. I know it might be hard hooking up with the regulars but don't go without giving them some love.....unless SN is going in a different direction and only bringing a few of the regulars?

The intro was lackluster compared to last seasons, but SN10 has THE BEST intro bar-none.

The Vintage footy in the bonus is awesome. Definately one of the highlights of the vid.

I'll be buying a copy, along with the usual SN swag for Xmas gifts however.....it's simply to top up my collection of SN vids, not necessarly one I'll be watching over and over(Like SN10) I guess that means, no matter how much or how little you spend on special effects, major editing and the like....sledders will buy pretty much anything. (Err....I haven't bought a MMM since #2, as well as some others) but you get the idea.

I will always buy the videos regardless of how much they suck. I love snowmobileing that much and like to support where i can.

I agree there is TONs of lame footage. Tired of stupid "shoot out" footage, record jumps, and behind the scene footage that only the editors friends thinks it funny.

Boost one was awesome IMO. Boost II a little lame

Burandt always makes the video. This boondocking footage is impressive

Last years Boondockers vid was pretty good also.

Sled vids have been going the same way for years IMO. Worse, not better. I haven't felt the need to buy one in probably 3-4 years if not more. It's just too much of the same thing with the camera guy way too far away for anything good. I can watch a bug crawl around on my monitor and get the same effect as some of the sled vids.

Sled Necks was o.k. the music sucked.I don't get the whole drop off a 300 foot cliff thing but I'll watch for a couple of minutes.

Haven't seen much new stuff since the backflip came around in Slednecks 4. Same stuff year after year. Just different music and scenery. That goes for more than just Slednecks though. I don't know what they could do different though to make it better. They do some pretty crazy stuff!!!!!!!! They do seem to get a litter higher (or a lot higher) with the turbo's now. Especially Thunderstruck. It's just that you don't need to get the new one every year cause there's nothing new to see. I agree, Burandt's boondocking footage is my favorite thing to watch. jmo

Slednecks and Thunderstruck had way better music last year than this year.

Are there really any bigger hills the thunderstruck guys are gonna be able to find or have they reached a plateau of hillclimbing??

I liked SN's wall ride on the rocks alot, I think they could expand on that kind of thing for next year.

The riding is all basically the same, crazy, so it really comes down to the editing. Sometimes after making movies for so long they get locked into something. They just need to get a fresh pair of hands and eyes on their footage if they want things to change.
