Might be picking up a 01 800 rmk that hasn't been ridden in 6 years. They guy used to be an avid snowmobiler and took care of it well and cleaned everything every off season. But it hasn't been started for 6 years. Has gas in the tank but he did add stabil. Besides getting some different gas ran through it anything else that I will need to do to it? It has been garaged as well

The stabil in the gas would help, but it isn't very effective after 1 or 2 years. You should siphon the gas out of the tank and check the tank fuel line and pick up filter. You would also have to check lines to carbs, which also should be removed disassembled and cleaned. I would find out if it had been heavily fogged before storage, and if oil had been put in the plug holes. If this hadn't been done, I would not buy it. The worst thing you can do to a 2 stroke is leave it sit for a long period without proper lubrication. This is only my opinion, others may think differently.
