Sled deck mounting question

So I bought a mega cab over the summer and the Dodges come with the chincy plastic tie down hook that are bolted to the lower wall of the truck bed. Do you other Dodge guys tie your decks down to the stock hooks and if not what do you use? Thanks

I use the stock hooks with turnbuckles and never had a problem. If you need more to keep the deck in back your probably gonna have other issues. lol

I did it in my 2000 and 2012 Super Duty just like rmscustom says.
Never had an issue.

I have an 07 Ram and those hooks have held up pretty well, as in not broke yet.
Had a deck in mine last year and I bolted it down, but it was all set up for that and about as easy as tieing it down. Plus the PO said it moved around on him when it was just tied down.

Several trips made west with my '06 mega cab and shop built steel deck. Ratchet strapped to all four corners and hooked on those same plastic deals, never had a problem. They seem pretty sturdy to me. I'm thinking they're maybe a metal part covered in plastic?

I bolted mine through the bed as per Marathon's instructions. No issues here. I'm not sure I trust that much weight on the tie downs but everyone is different!
