I am having a hard time deciding which deck to go with. I have been search snowest and reading everything possible, still having troubles.

I have narrowed my choice to 2 solid choices.

1) Full Lotus $3495 plus shipping puts it very close to $4,000.
2) Silver Lake Manufacturing bobtail w/expandable sides with rear superclamps
would end up right at $3,000.

The full lotus has some very nice features I would really like to have (composite decking, adjustable height etc...) but the silver lake is a solid deck also. The deck is going on an '05 gmc 2500hd with a 6" lift. The full lotus has an 11' ramp and the SLM only a 10' not sure if that will be a huge difference with only a 6" lift, but another plus on the FLM deck.

So I guess my question is for those of you that have had either deck what have you liked about it and what have you not liked about it?

Have you looked at Toyup? Those decks are the easiest decks to use in the industry and they look great! For 2100 you can't beat the price either!

FLM

I just purchased a used FLM deck this summer from Bugito and it seems like a very well built deck. I just put it in my pickup and loaded my sled for the first time yesterday and it is very easy with the long ramp. I really like the composite decking This was my choice because it was used and the price was considerably less than a new one. If I had to buy a new one I would by the american made one :usa2:. Just my 2 cents. Good Luck on your choice.

the longer ramp is always nice, especially with a lifted truck. on a stock truck a 10ft ramp is still fairly steep. in the end you get what you pay for

Thanks for the replies everyone. Well I think my mind is made up. Had someone contact me for a used FLM deck for a decent price, and is reasonably close.

If u have already purchased your deck then great and just ignore but I've been around both decks both very nice the FL is well built and the composite is very nice ( but can be put on any deck ) the adjustment is nice only downfall is better have some buddies to help u loathd it the silver lake which I currently run is awsome I can unload and load it by myself and I actually have a 13 ft ramp with mine and I believe others are 11 ft not 10 plus they are cheaper when buying new

I have a Marathon and love it and of course a yr later they come out with the TruckBoss. Its By far trhe best deck on the market, and there is no wasted under space for legs or supports, and its 100percent sealed off to the elements. That full Louts looks very nice too but not alot of box space.
