Sled Deck anchor points???

?

The truck box side is plenty strong, it's the anchor points on the deck itself that need help...

sorry

Truck is good, use superclamps for sleds, that's all good, deck is aluminum...

Now,,,,, it's a "Custom Deck". There never was any actual place on the deck itself to attach to the Truck, such as hooks, or rings or anything, via turnbuckles or whatever. I have used turnbuckles with my own little system. But, I need ideas, for something better..

I've got my Marathon bolted right through the deck. I used 3/4" ply under the feet and the supplied threaded backing plates on the bottom of the bed, as they instructed. No turnbuckles for me.

I have a Marlon deck and am only using turnbuckles. It came with the plates, but I didn't want to drill holes in my bed. Never had a problem. Has anyone had issues by doing it this way?

yep

Yeah, as I said, the truck and turnbuckles are all good, it's where everything hooks to the deck itself that's the problem..

I use ratchet straps(rated for 1,000 lb WLL) instead of turnbuckles, they stay tighter and allow some flexibility.
