I put about 12k miles on my new tires since i bought them and im pretty sure that at least 10k i had my deck on almost always running loaded with stuff and didnt notice any uneven wear, i do need to rotate thought. i run my 10 ply's at 65psi empty.. seems to keep wear somewhat even.

He might be refering to a Sled Bed brand trailer, not a sled deck on a pickup. I would guess that the axle is bent from overloading the trailer, but thats just a guess.
