does this make the ski handle better? i have a pair of PP and i took them off after first ride on them cause they sucked for sharp banked turns in pow pow.

curious also if this helps carving and sidehilling in powder as i assuming i could do this to my pair i already have

mine carve incredibly with the carls cut out. I haven't ridden any without it, but with it, it rocks.

Anyone compare this back to back with a regular powder pro? Looks like an interesting mod, and pretty easy to do with a saber saw.

I have noticed that sidehilling is touchy with the skis, especially when trying to counter steer. Thanks for the post.
