SKS Maybe?

Keep clicking!!! :face-icon-small-hap

I hope that works! LOL The SKS is what I want but I think the Roseau boys caught on. My 15 RMK LE was $10,604 plus tax ($11,999 MSRP), which included clicker shocks handlebar underseat and burandt tunnel bag, and electric start.

I like everything about this sled but the $2500 price jump from 15 ouch

they sure did, and boy am i glad i got mine! Did you happen to price out a similar equipped model? But, on the other hand, the used market prices will be higher..dont give away your old pro!

I was hoping for a SBA with the new chassis and engine. Would be pretty well the same thing. I don't need a 155 out in Saskatchewan but the places I go a 144 is sure nice to have. I go to the mountains the odd time when money and time allow, but not often enough to need a 155.

That's their big miss in 2016, a SBA 144/141 in the Axys, if I read the new models correctly. The Freerides and XFs will dominate that niche, and the SBA in the pro chassis will be deemed outdated. Maybe poo knows something, but I suspect it was a compromise, maybe inventory. This is the other half the midwest/plains niche (SKS or Assault), and they chose just the SKS half for the Axys.

How's the used price guna go anywhere but way down ? You are currently competing with 15 Pro 155's that are selling for $9000.00 all over the place so whats the guy to buy new for 9 or used for more.

I was kind of hoping for the 600 in the SKS platform.

i can see that being an option next year. as well as a 146! with cat and yamaha offering a 141 and guys bitching about no new SBA......makes more sense than the SBA, everyone i know that has one wishes it had the 39" stance, pro boards, and coil over rear.

me thinks the 600 rmk is good where its at, if you not sure about 800 power w the belt drive, the 600 might be better suite. smaller track option, no extra cooler as most the 8s dont even have them why would a 6.
The 6 looks like a contender to me, too bad they didnt do all the h.o. technology tho. next year maybe.

would this work?

Ok, so why is the SKS more money and either 16 or 25 pounds heavier than the Assault? They both have chaincase, and the Assault has the wider and therefore I assume slightly heavier front suspension. Does the cooler add that much weight? Seems like a lot. Also, why does the Assault have 2 different weights, just because of the different track options? These prices seems a little crazy. About $2,000 dollars more than my 2012 RMK Assault was. And also only 3 pounds lighter than the dinosaur from 2012 I'm riding right now...

I’m guessing the reason the SBA did not get updated is because it’s they don’t want it on the “raised” Axys chassis. It’s really an “Indy” with upgrades now when you look at their lineup. They almost need a new chassis for it because of the trail use of it. Some of the guys that tested talked about how the new RMK is more tippy on the trail so I’m guessing that is why it stayed and will get updated next year along with the Indy line.

However I think they missed the mark by not offering a new Axys sled in a 141/144/146. But maybe they don’t sell that well for Polaris. But lots are happy with the 144 Renegade Backcounty option this year so Doo seems to think there is a market there.

lots are happy with the return of the 141 m as well.

I remember when the 2011 pro came out the argument was the nimbleness of the pro chassis doesnt need a 144........ some guys just like to tail stand all day.

missing the mark with the 144/146 sks for sure.
