Ski's

I have been riding snowmobiles since i was 2 and i had my own snowmobile when i was 7. I know more about motors than most men. I do have a question for all of you old pro's out there. I have a 2001 RMK 800. I have wimp ski's and i am looking for an upgrade. What do you suggest?
Thanks

I'm no pro, but SLP powder pros are really good. I just put Polaris grippers on my 2000, makes a world of a diffurence. Really nice ski's too. Lots say slydog powder hounds are good, but I have never tried them, so I can't comment on them.

Grippers are AWSOME. One of my riding buds has a 01 700 and has Simmons gen 1 and they really are nice on that sled. I have to recommend C&A Pro skis. They are awesome! If you want to go the cheep route, get the grippers. The gripper is a better ski then the Simmons and powder pros in my opinion. Never been around sly dog so i can't comment on them but I won’t buy they’re products. At the West Yellowstone Expo last year I couldn’t even get they’re attention. They were chatting and watching a movie and didn’t want to sell stuff.

No Pro - I like the Simmons for a few reasons:

1. They feel like they add suspension by flexing.

2. They do not dart on the trail at high speeds.

3. They float very well because of their concave bottoms.

4. I cannot say they are the best powder ski or not because I have not had the opportunity to compare on the same day under the same conditions against skis designed specifically for powder. I can say I like them better than any stock ski I have ever had in the powder.

Ive been hearing and reading really good things about the grippers. I started a thread in P/M asking the question if these would bolt to a 2000 zx spindle but have not recieved any feed back yet. I to am in the market for new skis and have the oppertunity to buy some grippers cheap. Buddies are using the powder pros now and love them. If any one is using the grippers on a Doo spindle I would appreciate some info.

Thanx

I have to say that I really didn't like the slydogs. I always take my skiis off when I sell a sled, but I let them go with the last rev I sold. I'd go with powder pro's.
