Hey,

So i bot a set of OEM skis for now and after getting my trailing arms powder coated i then reattached everything and noticed that after aligning the skis they have a lot of movement.

Should the skis have (horizontal movement) with out turning the handle bars?

From my experience every zx i have seen has really sloppy sterring lots of play and no ski movement, Me and Maxwell can vouch for this hahahaha

a little is normal you can set toe in a bit then thell track straight under power
sounds like you need to replace the bolt and bushing in them
they wear and get sloppy your dealer should have them
should run you about 15 bucks per ski
also check the bolts that go through bottom of the pan and hold your
steering arm they are known to get loose and that will give you lots of slop

1/4" toe out....never toe-in.
Replace bushings and heim joints as needed and there will be very little play.

ALWAYS! toe out (setting with enough tension in on the tips to take up the "slop") or the skis will try to carve back under the belly pan:eek:...usually when ya least expect it at 80mph on the way "in" from the truck-really crappy start to a day;)
