Anyone installed the Skinz running boards, I just got a set and they fit like crap.

Rear Rivet holes where suspension mount is isn't even close?

Front and rear bolts will line up OK, but that's about it!

Looks like you can just drill new holes at the rear suspension? Touch it up with a little spray paint so it's not an eye sore.

Really not much meet left there at the rear to drill new holes, pictures are hard to see the whole condition. Really not happy with the fit and am going to return them. Last few things I've bought from Skinz just haven't impressed me.

Sorry I can't see it very well and I do better hands on.

Are you sure they sent the right boards? Or is it possible you are missing a bracket or piece?

They have about 1,000 variations to the boards. Short, medium, long. Different heights ect....

Only reason I ask is, we have bought and installed thousands upon thousands of $$$$$ of their products over the years. I have never seen anything close to that. Most everything has fit like a glove.

Suppose to be the right boards according to the part number. Ideally the tubes should be about 1/2" longer towards the rear to fit right.

This is my first year buying a few different skinz products, I got 4 products, and returned 3 of them, fit was crap like very bad, and color did not come close to matching, or I would half to modify to look half a$$. Won't buy from them again.

My bm fabrications LE boards lined up perfect I would look into them if you are not happy with what you have currently

Agreed, I'm very happy with my BMFab LE boards. I have their boards on both my sleds. Fit and finish is way better than the skinz boards I've put on 3 sleds in the past. Welds are a work of art on the BMfab boards. I also like the fact that BM uses thicker tubing in the center span. This gives the traction screws more bite and don't strip out like the skinz in that area. I think this is why skinz uses their plastic cleats now. Which I don't care for as you slip more on them over traction screws. BMfab LE boards are pretty pricey though. I think I paid $775 for them. They said the cost increase was due to the flat bar work against the tunnel. Having higher toe loops is pretty nice as well.

X3 on the BM Fab LE boards. My lord can they take a hit too! Early season was a little hard on things this year and these boards were up for it.
