Skinz a arms?

OK i love every part of the pro except the POS front suspension. 3 Lower A-Arms this season allready, out of the 3 one i could see bending an arm. This is Bull crap, finally done with em. Anyone know if the Skinz front suspension is holding up or when it will be released? I know there are other suspensions but im intrigued by the skinz. Wouldnt mind the Zbroz 36" but dont want to change shocks. Already have Float Evols. Just trying to see if i can hold out for the skinz or if i need to start researching others.

Also is anyone having problems damaging the bulkhead with the stronger a arms? Even if so id rather change a bulkhead once a year then 6 a arms.

Weird...I'm on my third season on the stock set. Seems like if your breaking that many and z-bros you should be glad you haven't toasted a bulkhead yet.

Are the skinz ones different geometry like the ones for the nytro?

So far they are not available yet, and from my understanding they will offer different geometry over the stock Pro A-arms.

I believe he's talking about the 2013 arms where the shafts are glued into aluminum ball joint mounts. They're pieces of crap. if you hit ANYTHING, even lightly they either rip the glue out of the aluminum or fold the shaft. If definatly doesnt take much, And The're over $320 a piece

Im breaking stock arms. Ordering a set of zbroz. my stock lowers are crinkling just thinking about riding. I thought at first it was nice to be able to buy a stock lower from just about any dealership but 1 every ride is a joke. Im hoping with the zbroz ill actually be able to unload off my deck and go for a ride without bending one.

what exactly are you hitting? at some point, maybe the issue isn't with the a arms and possibly sled control? no idea... just brainstorming. Seems quite excessive. Everyone's definition of "riding hard" is quite different but 4 a arms is a lot, esp with it only being feb

well the one was from a rock. i understand that one. another happened while crossing a wooden fence going maybe 3mph, another one i hit a small piece of firewood about 1' in length 6" around and the other one was the side of the trail.

I spoke with Jeff tonight... owner of SPG.

The SPG A-Arm kit will consist of 4 arms (aluminum uppers), new spindles and will need to run 17" shocks.

It moves the skis a bit fwd and changes the steering geometry slightly in an effort to reduce bump steer to near zero.

They will NOT have these available for public distribution this year but are producing a very limited number of pre-release sets that are already spoken for.

Jeff said that the prototype phase of design and testing was a good experience and that he wants to get them out into consumers hands for testing and public abuse testing before offering them as consumer product next season.

Sled Solutions posted this pic of a prototype version of the design that has gone through many different versions before they settled in on the final design.

Price target : there is no official word yet.

Wow can't believe you have broke that many.... I have went over my handle bars atleast 5 times this year from hitting stuff... Thinking to myself as I get my wind back and brush the snow off myself I just completly destroyed my front end, only to role the sled back over and find everything is straight:face-icon-small-sho
