Skidoo Turbo Track Speed

also, an interesting thing IM noticing that seems to affect turbo's more then NA as the power exagerates it, I was pulling 65-70mph track sleep on my yamadoo at 11#/ thats a ot of speed for the power, but my track is soft, so theres no traction, and its spinning and not doing anything, with a 2.5 camo extreme i bet 50 would be more reasonable, but it would SMOKE mine right now. i got an attack 20 in HC on it now, we shall see what my newfound traction does.

on pump gas, and 6 psi of boost, in at least 18" of fresh snow, moderate hill aound 40 degree slop... i consistently get 70 mph.

race fuel and 8-9 psi similiar hill /snow conditions, its 105 mph. Goin down the trail about 55..pin the throttle and it gets squirrelly and leaves a 5" deep groove. Thats with a 136".... and you wont believe where it goes, its all about track speed! :face-icon-small-hap

u ride a unicorn sled you have a rarity:):beer;

sweat jezus!!! i am running my attack 20 now, thinking im getting around 65mph track speed, but i cant tell, it hooks up and runs away before i can look at it!! then again this is in about a foot of fresh with a hard base. we shall see how the bottomless does here when this new storm comes in.

900 mitsu Doo - 75mph - 150 x 2.5
800 aero 66 Xp - 60-65mph - 154 x 2.25

Will vary for conditions I'm sure, this is what they were running last trip out.

well i have been riding over the christmas holidays, been seeing 55 to 60 mph track speed climbing, on the dic, with nitrous it has been an average of 65mph

this is with 7tooth drivers, and nitrous numbers were in wetter heavier snow over 6second passes

You will have to subtract approx 10% for your smaller drivers. But still with that it sounds fast...We still have to do some comparing, you coming this weekend?

yes drivers were 7 tooth and you need to take 8 percent off

tetec is now seeing around the 68 to 72mph on the speed o\\what is your stock etec showing

my 1200 track speed is probably similar to what bryce stated in the first post

the climbing ground speed is quite healthy too

with a 174 3" and Racers edge skid, after passing all the NA highmarks the sled will keep on grunting out a 30-40 mph ground speed to the top in the deep stuff

My Stock 12 E-Tec 154 sees about 44-48 mile per hour. in Soft fluffy snow pretty consistantly, with just over 200 miles on it

Took My 08 880 turbo out yesterday, in light fluffy top coat of about 10+ inches and a 2 inche crust with a weeeet heavy layer under it and depending on the run I got at certain pulls depended on the speed

One pull in the heavy mush on top of Alders I was only seeing 48 mph.
But you could really feel the torque, and I was trenching really bad...

This vid. I tried first pull with little run

second run I got a little more speed to start.

Still have some jetting, and clutching to fine tune
But much better than the first run
Burmt almost 15 gallons of full threw her yesterday.

i watched a few others of your videos, as well, have it working sweet, your snorkel is very close to where i mounted mine, how do you like it there, your spool sounds very quick, with that bore it should be making some big ponies

buddy has a stock etec, he was seeing around the 44mph track speeds our first trip

we installed five grams in the primary, went to a straight 42helix added a modded stock ypipe, gutted the foam tightened the rear skid and added the sizor relocates, and added too holes in the back of the airbox

our second trip out he was seeing 50mph on every hill, when i took it up it was 51, that machine was running very very good compared to the other stockers

last year the 880 was running in the 57mph, and low 60s with nitrous, but that is with 7tooth drivers

nice video thanks...have you done anything to your suspension to keep the front end down??? You could probably get more speed with it lower and keeping more track on the ground....02:tea:

Yea I havent But next time out I will have the sissor relocation moved back, tighen up the limiter strap, and tighten up the rear susspention.

out yesterday with aerocharger and new cold air snorkel, all i can say is , it should be part of the kit...wow

at 4.5lbs boost up a shoot we seen 65mph, turned boost up to 6.5lbs and hit 72mph, cant imangine what 10lbs is going to do... and that a 3 inch 162 track

love the boost controller, easy and quick for adjustments

video of the 71mph pass at 6lbs, snow was starting to setup but you still can get a clue at the track speed

latter i seen that i was pushing 8200 rpm and turned shockwave out another turn to 5 turns out and droped the clickers one more, up shift was crazy, back shift was not the best, for tree riding, but even faster track speeds
