skidoo seat on rmk 700

you probably can if you have the Doo gas tank that goes with the seat.. otherwise you'll probably have to peel the cover off the front of the seat, shave the foam and saw the plastic to fit the rmk gas tank, then restitch your seat back up.. i've seen it done before

same deal.. the newer polaris seat will more than likely be alot closer than the doo seat.. if you can get the matching gas tank the swap is simple.. thats the only problem i've ever run into is getting the seat to butt up nice and tight against the tank...

Have you ever thought about using one of the older Pro-X seats? Just an idea for you to think about.

Actually a really good point, not only will you find the slim design easier to maneuver when shredding the pow, its a bit lighter and a helluva lot more comfortable when you case a jump.. the boys downstairs will thank you for it.. i seen one on ksl.com (salt lake city classifieds) for like 50 bucks... but then you still have the tank issue.. i think the pro-x mates with the genII tank

your talking like a iq like seat when you say newer polaris right?
im not sure about that but i know its possible if you get the right tank to go with it.
i do have a somwhat newer style polaris seat on my genII(edge) and it fits perfect.

my buddy rides a wedge 700 and it is almost the same as my genII. his is one of those seat/tank combined and he is thinking about putting a genII tank and seat on it. but other then that and some other things they are pretty much alike.

here is one thing to remember that sled has a cooler under the seat as well as hoses .if it is stock you have to do some fab to a edge or gen 2 seat to work or get rid off the cooler and run a u cooler

U cooler now thats a new one, emphasize for me, I'm swapping from Fan to Liquid and was wondering what this U cooler was.. I'm working on the plumbing for my coolers and didn't want to mount them under the running boards like the early 90's Indy models did.. Kind of wondering which way to go with this

u coolers are made to run inside the tunnel they take up space but work very well there are a lot of high hp sleds using them fabcraft makes one as well as vanamberge

I don't mind running the hoses under the seat, I just though maybe is was an engine house based cooler like a radiator.. I'll check them out though for sure.. are they somewhat like the cooler mounted up in the back of the tunnel where all the "snow-throw" goes??
